Strict laws related to production, consumption and disposal need to be passed and implemented. South Korea, which now recycles nearly cent per cent of food waste is good example to follow. Primary constraint faced relates to collection of reliable data during pandemic period. Forms filled through online mode were often incomplete. Sample population responding to survey may not truly be random sample. Data obtained may not be generalised throughout Delhi, but it is expected to give fair idea of average consumer behavior. Results obtained and implications derived need to be understood with caution, considering various limitations of survey. Disaggregated analysis in terms of rural-urban areas, or a comprehensive survey of specific districts can provide more meaningful results.
